These guidelines provide advice to vessels transiting the harbour, anchoring in Bream Bay, and procedures to be followed when one pilot is managing an inbound and outbound vessel ship. These guidelines are best practice, for the safety of all vessels on the harbour.
Ship's on arrival at the Pilot station receive a copy of the Instructions to Masters and Emergency Information. This booklet comprises of the important information a master requires about this facility during their stay.
Pedestrian access is prohibited, unless undertaking a draught survey.
Entry and exit from wharf area is by vehicle only for crew going ashore.
