Northport is a deep-water commercial port situated at Marsden Point near Whangārei in Northland, New Zealand. We are the country’s newest port, designed and built to cater for a wide range of cargoes and their associated vessel types. We are also New Zealand’s northernmost multi-purpose port, and the closest to most international markets.
Regular and seasonal container services link Northport with Australia, Asia, and Europe via the Panama Canal, and Northland importers and exporters can take advantage of a weekly coastal shipping container service connecting our region with the ports of Tauranga, Auckland and Lyttelton. We are less than two hours by road from Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city and its primary commercial hub.
